Auterion Government Solutions, the leading software platform for robotics systems, today announced the appointment of Lisa Hammitt to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Hammitt brings more than 30 years of leadership to Auterion Government Solutions’ Board of Directors. Ms. Hammitt currently serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for Intelsat, operator of the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial network, as well as an outside director with Glassbox Ltd. and Clear Channel Outdoor. She has served as CEO at two startups and held pivotal roles in Fortune 500 organizations, notably running Watson at IBM; serving as Global Vice President, Data and Artificial Intelligence at Visa; and holding senior positions in AI and Data at Salesforce and Hewlett Packard. Ms. Hammitt is also an advisor to the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, the US Department of Defense, and is a member of the Executive Committee for IEEE’s Data Ethics and Privacy by Design. She received BA degrees from University of California, Berkeley in Economics and French, and completed graduate coursework in artificial intelligence at Stanford University.
